Sports

At World Victory Church we set a bar of excellence and enjoy engaging in sports and competing. Athletic competition and the love of sports is more than just a game. Our mission is to activate our faith by combining the gospel, fun, and fellowship with athletics to build relationships, meet new people, and share God's Word while at the same time, expecting victory. Softball, basketball, and flag football are some of the sports that we have competed in, and anyone that is a part of WVC is more than welcome to join the team.

Community Outreach

Jesus said in Mark 16:15 "Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Our local community is the starting point of world outreach, and at WVC we get involved from the youngest to the oldest. Parades, Oktoberfest, National Day of Prayer, car washes, etc. have always been a lot of fun and great opportunities to proclaim the good news of Jesus. Also, every first Wednesday of the month, a WVC leader speaks to the elderly men and women at Ashley Apartments in Moody. WVC volunteers are always involved and on the "front-line" when concerning changing lives in the community and around the world. No selling and no pressure. We simply give freely to all people what has been freely given to us.
